Hello classic crew and welcome to this week’s discussion thread! Today I want to know - what’s your love language? If you’ve never heard of this, there’s a book called the 5 Love Languages and the author says that we each have one primary language that makes us feel loved. Share below what yours is!
Love and physical touch! I absolutely love showing affection by giving hugs, holding hands, etc. I think a lot of people see that as clingy but honestly it's a sweet gesture to show how much you love someone. ♥️♥️♥️
Touch, time, and words, in roughly that order. Acts of service are nice, but gifts tend to leave me lukewarm. (The touch thing is probably due to the Asperger's, though; whatever I think of and feel for a person, good or ill, is magnified 1000x by touch. I learned with my ex back in 2009, last time I was on a date, that this can be a Very Bad Thing.)
Acts of service. Sometimes it’s difficult to have too many responsibilities. And I despise doing “manly” things like yard work, taking out the trash, etc.
I think I prefer quality time, but I honestly don’t know. They all sound great! If you fold my laundry, bring me a coffee, give me a hug, tell me I’m pretty, and sit down for chat I’m all yours!😉
Words of affirmation. I work pretty hard and when someone recognizes me for who I am and what I bring, I feel so loved.
I understand that! Words of affirmation are so special.

I can see that!

It's great that you know yourself so well.

Having someone to help means a lot.
Yes definitely. Even if it’s just something silly like switching out laundry. I feel supported!

Acts of service! When my at the time boyfriend drove over to scrape all the ice off my car at 5am in December, I knew he was a keeper
Acts of Service! Taking out the trash, keeping cars maintained, working a job to provide for a wife/family
Yes, so lovely!
Words can be so meaningful!
