Hi Abby!

My favorite thing about life right now is that I am engaged! At first I was quite anxious at the thought of planning a wedding and moving onto the next chapter of my life… but now I’m very much embracing what’s to come/being with the love of my life forever. Any general wedding planning advice? Also advice on being newlyweds? Love your content,

Kat 😊

My favorite thing right now is life with my son. We’re in a groove. He just turned 18 months and he’s such a fun dude with a great personality. He’s starting to understand me better and do things on his own and it’s so much fun to see.

Questions for tomorrow: How do you make an apartment feel homey when it’s only an apartment and doesn’t feel like it’s yours? What are some fun things to do to celebrate or enjoy the fall season?

What do you envision an ideal/good (not perfect!) homemaker can do? I imagine we all have somewhat different ideas.

My favorite thing happening in my life right now is that I just moved and so far I'm really liking it! I've found a couple great used bookstores really close to my apartment.

What are your tips for home keeping when you live alone? I'm living completely alone for the first time and I feel a little overwhelmed with keeping up on cleaning, cooking, and general home tasks while also spending a lot of time studying for law school.

Just our curiosity, what are your opinions on tattoos and piercings? Is there a way they can be classic?

As far as what I’m enjoying right now; definitely every new milestone my little girl has (she’s 8 weeks!), but also I’ve really been loving making a game out of how to cook really good meals that are inexpensive. I do that with shopping too, a good deal is so fun!

I am someone who's political views skew a more liberal but, I still enjoy and feel like I can learn things from your content. I think it's super valuable to hear new ideas and be able to engage with them in a respectful and constructive manner. What would you like your liberal veiwers to take away from your content?

My question is: do you think there are ever circumstances in which a woman can just be happy and fulfilled without marriage? I am 27 years old, love my career, and have wonderful friends, but I’m on the autism spectrum and dating has always been extremely hard for me because I have a difficult time connecting with people romantically. Additionally, while I love having close friendships, it’s hard to imagine ever getting close enough emotionally to someone that I would want to share my life with them to that extent. I ask because, while I’m content, I often feel pressure from other people and society to be in a relationship. Mine might be a more unique situation, but I’d love to know your thoughts!

Honestly one of my favorite things right now is that I'm shoring up a lot of my relationships in this season. Family, friends, particularly with my girlfriends. It's such a blessing to really tend to the connections with those closest to me.

Favorite thing in my life right now: dating a great guy :-D

Which leads to my question: any suggestions on how to introduce big conversations when you're dating? He and I have the same values so I'm pretty confident there aren't any major hidden issues but I'd like to know for sure that our priorities align in terms of dating for marriage, wanting kids, etc. But I feel really awkward bringing that up because I feel like it could come off as "you need to start ring shopping right now" even though it's still relatively early in the relationship.

Hey Abby!

New subscriber here. I'm happy to join the crew.

My favorite thing right now is that I just graduated nursing school! I worked as a CNA at this skilled nursing facility and now I get to work there as an LVN. I am super pumped as becoming a nurse has been my goal since I was a little girl. Now I'm looking forward on working on my new goal of becoming a mother in the near future.

Looking forward to viewing more of your content!!
