Hello lovely friends! Welcome to this week’s discussion thread. Today I’d like to know - what TV show do you think we should watch? I’d love to hear your recommendations. I’ll start - I loved watching Victoria, a show all about Queen Victoria!
Every once in a while I like to watch Korean dramas, they’re a lot less explicit, and don’t push questionable ideologies on the viewers. Love Rain is a favorite!
Breaking Bad is a little slow to start with but amazing! And when you’ve finished that, you’ve got a film and Better Call Saul to watch after which are just as good!
It’s alright. It didn’t wow me like Downton did though. Just couldn’t really fall in love with any of the characters. But it’s worth a watch. I like period shows.
Since it’s the same creator as Downton I almost got the sense that he looks down on Americans somehow haha.
The Crown has definitely been my current favorite, I'm always so intrigued by the royal family. Great British Bake-Off is a very comforting show I tend to come back to when I'm feeling down. Victoria is great, the style of clothing was absolutely beautiful in that era!
Downton Abbey was really fun to watch.
I also like old classics like Hawaii Five-O (the original series) and Perry Mason.
I have not watched Victoria yet, but it sounds very interesting. ☺️

I'm a Star Wars fan and I really enjoyed watching The Mandalorian. I'm thinking of doing a re-watch pretty soon :)
I haven't watched that show but everyone raves about it!
I don't really watch tv shows, i don't think most of them are worth the commitment 😅 I don't even remember the last show I watched completely

I watch it on Britbox. It used to come on PBS sometimes too.

Sweet Magnolias on Netflix is a good show. I also like Downton Abbey, Virgin River, and Yellowstone.
I have some issues with the content of Sweet Magnolias, but it's definitely enjoyable to watch!
