Also, if Abby is wondering if she is influencing us. The Answer is YES. I am in my 30s and never made a casserole until she showed how to make one in a video! Now I LOVE casserole. I just ordered that beautiful "regency" dress from Amazon, and I am currently looking online for lights to hang on my bedroom wall like Abby has in her background on videos. So Abby, you ARE reaching us!

Full disclosure: I am a feminist. The word has a very special meaning to me and is such a huge part of my heritage I could never NOT identify as a feminist. Like you mention in your article, first-wave feminists really had the right idea. My great-grandmother marched in women's suffrage parades. She was a true pioneer. That is REAL feminism to me. I simply will not allow those on the fringe of "feminism" to tell me what it is. All this being said, I do not find a ton of acceptance among feminists anymore. In a room of self-identified feminists I am considered the most conservative one, though I don't use this term to identify myself. If you read Scripture ( I am Catholic and we actually do not proselytize, but this self-identification will help make my point ), you can see clear examples of how God values women. Jesus showed His Resurrection to women before ANY of the male apostles! Women ARE special! There is nothing secret about it!
