Dear Abby,

I'm leaving a comment because I'm interested in a personal coaching session. Not sure if this is something you'll be doing in the near future due to the arrival of your new baby (so many congratulations!!), but if you are I would love to book one!

I absolutely love slow living. I tell myself every day, "if you get less done but you feel less stressed and rushed, it's worth it." But I've actually found that I don't need to do that because enjoying what I'm doing (and managing my daily priorities better) means that I'm actually a lot more efficient in what I'm doing, and I often end up completing MORE than I would have if I was trying to rush around and getting myself worked up and overwhelmed!

I also love crocheting and having hobbies that I don't do for any reason. People tell me all the time I should sell the candles I make or the items I crochet but... Why? Then I'd have to make so much more, put time and effort into a store/sale system, etc. That doesn't interest me. I do these things because I LIKE them. I have no interest in my relaxation hobbies being a job!

Oooh I strongly disagree with the quote of the week 🙈

Women looooove talking. We're sensitive, emotional, and very very vocal. Which is a great thing and is very important!

Men don't do as much talking. They are creatures of action, solutions, and efficiency. We need men to be like that to balance out the women!

I don't believe that women "do more" than men, as this quote implies. I think that women fill our lives with many small (but important) tasks, whereas men will take big actions for big ticket items. They may not have as many things on their list, but they do such big things that it more than "balances out."

Both men and women do what they need to do, but I think in general women will do a lot more talking about things than men.
