Thanks Abbey! Love your opinion about Halloween. As a Catholic, I also denounce the evil, gory, and death obsessed version of Halloween and embrace the sweet and cute halloween focused on family and neighbours!
Here’s a really fun more adult Halloween game that is focussed on death, but is meant to be really silly! You basically tried to kill your family in silly ways while trying to keep other peoples families alive. It’s really funny and fun to play!
I hate Halloween so much 😅 I participate for the benefit of others, but if I had it my way I would just skip the whole scene. I enjoy costumes, but I don't think you need Halloween as an excuse to dress up. I think Jack o lanterns are a waste of good pumpkin and collecting candy is a waste of an evening and a lot of candy (and therefore money). I don't like anything scary, and I hate that Halloween means seeing ghosts and spiders and skeletons and all manner of gross, grotesque, and scary decorations all over town. I don't think that Halloween as a holiday adds any value to my life, and I spend most of October waiting for it to be over with. The only Halloween movies I enjoy are the corpse Bride, the nightmare before Christmas, and the Halloweentown series on Disney. But I also don't need to wait for Halloween to watch any of those 🤷♀️
Don't get me wrong, I love fall and I do decorate for fall with wreaths and scarecrows and other such things, I just don't like Halloween itself 🙈
