Nope. We’re firm believers in Thanksgiving. The day after we spend getting our tree and decorating. We throw on a Christmas playlist, drink mulled wine (which we pick up at a winery next to the tree farm) and decorate. We look forward to “Tree Day” all year

As traditional Roman Catholics, we get our Christmas decorations out the day after thanksgiving starting with our Advent wreath and Jesse tree. We take our time decorating little by little leading up to Christmas. It emphasizes the expectation of the Christ child and is so much less stressful! We celebrate advent before our Christmas season Dec 25 through Epiphany Jan 6.

November is spent remembering our dearly departed and we do a “thankful tree” with our kids. It’s basically a bare tree we hang leaves on each day. We write what we’re thankful for on each leaf. It’s a sweet tradition leading up to Thanksgiving.

My family and I usually wait till December 1st to officially bring out all the Christmas stuff. Buuuuut...I wanted to make an exception this year and asked to put our Christmas wreath up on the front door last month, lol. I'm just really excited for the holiday season this year!

I usually like to wait until Thanksgiving, but I’m getting more eager to decorate early this year!

I totally relate on the eagerness this year!

My family and I always wait until after Thanksgiving before putting up our Christmas decor. It just feels better to do that than to put things out early, no offense to anyone who does so.

I haven't yet but, I did make some Christmas cookies last night! I'm debating how much I want to decorate my apartment since I'm going to be visiting my parents for three weeks over the holidays and will be decorating there. Not to mention, I have a new kitten and I'm worried that any decor will quickly become kitty toys!

That's funny how little one are the same a kittens in that way. Last year my son was 1, to keep out of his reach our tree only had decoration on the top half ahaha!

Target dollar section has a lot of adorable decorations! It was so hard to walk away, but I want to save the winter magic for after Thanksgiving!

I felt the same way at Dollar Tree!

I would absolutely be the type of person to have Christmas decorations up year round, or at least as soon as the snow hits, but my fiance keeps me in check! We've agreed to wait until December first to decorate!

Mom's strict that it's after Thanksgiving, and I always spend the holidays with my parents, so... I don't decorate myself since I live in an apartment and what's the hecking point? I'm always home for most of the Christmas season, not here. I'm also moving this year, so my entire schedule of going home vs. being here to pack/move is...fdjklfdslkjjfw4ir0wru0wqurqefdjf!!!

We are Orthodox Christians and celebrate Christmas on January 7, eastern Christmas. When I was a child, my parents would get a free tree on December 25th (or the day after) and decorate then. When I married my husband, before children, we always worked so much there was not much sense in decorating. However, now that we have two babies we will most definitely get a tree and decorate after Thanksgiving. My children are really young (5 months and 23 months), all the lights and songs and joys of this season are that much more special now <3

I don't see a problem decorating earlier, but my sons birthday is a week before Thanksgiving, so we will have birthday decorations up, then Thanksgiving decoration and then Christmas time.

Abby, I grew up in a large Jewish community and everyone always got "Hanukkah" tree's. Do you and Jacob get a tree?
