I once heard a woman whose husband had passed say that she would give anything to see his socks on the floor again, because it would mean he is still here. I think that is a beautiful shift perspective.
Whenever I'm feeling a little annoyed with my husband for leaving a cabinet open or leaving his clothes around, I think of that woman and feel grateful that I have such a wonderful loving husband that I get to care for and have in my life.

There is so much material in there of just how much she does not appreciate the many efforts and sacrifices her husband makes. She seems to blame patriarchy on absolutely everything too, even on certain problems that seem to be largely women judging other women.
