I haven’t watched your fashion video yet but the small house one really struck a chord with me! We really downsized from our home in VA to the home we’re building in CO! It’s also going to be a 3 br, with one of those BRs serving as a guest room/office. The open concept plan was a huge selling point for me so that the life of the home is all happening in one cozy room, and I can cook in the kitchen while baby girl (and hopefully more babies in a few years) can play all in the main living space. We unfortunately do have to do some childproofing because you do have to go upstairs to get to the actual living space in the house, even though downstairs is just a closet, front door, and garage. I love how it forces you to be intentional with your stuff--clutter is an enemy of Shalom bayis! I’m so excited to get into our new space :)
