I was sitting in the car listening to a Celtic Playlist on Spotify and looking at the new ring on my right hand. My husband and I chose to celebrate our third anniversary two weeks early by going to Colonial Williamsburg, a sort of tradition for us ever since going two years ago for our first anniversary. While there, we went to Busch Gardens, one of our favorite places, and Williamsburg proper. As a mutual gift, we had chosen to purchase matching Celtic knot rings - my husband has some Scottish/Irish heritage and we love the culture.

What’s the easiest way to look put-together, trendy, and feminine? Layering jewelry! Layered jewelry is totally “in” this season. Pairing a choker with a pendant is the easiest way to follow this trend, and it makes your neck look long and and elegant. I find that gold is especially lovely in the summer months! I paired a gold star choker with this butterfly necklace and it has been one of my favorite combinations.
Things I’ve Been Loving: Silicone Body Scrubber
I recently purchased this body scrubber to replace my loofahs and I’ve been enjoying it! Loofahs can grow bacteria and have to be replaced pretty frequently, so I was on the hunt for something that lasted but that would still be good to use in the shower. This silicone body scrubber was just the thing! It doesn’t foam up as much as my loofah, but it’s still a worthwhile investment.
