Did you know thereโs such a thing as casual heels? Casual heels have a thicker heel, are usually a sandal, and are really comfortable. These are my favorite types of shoes to wear because they add something special to my outfit without causing my feet to hurt!
Things Iโve Been Loving: Good Earth Tea
I grew up drinking this tea, and I recently rediscovered it. Itโs so tasty! It has a really unique cinnamon flavor, and I think youโll love it. I linked the decaf version, but thereโs a caffeinated version as well!

The BEST Makeup Tips For Women Who Don't Like Makeup!
Hello classic crew and happy Wednesday! Welcome to another edition of my newsletter. How are you doing? It has been a bit crazy for us the past couple of weeks. This past Sabbath, we hosted four families over the course of the weekend, so that meant cooking a TON of food. Luckily, it all turned out delicious and we had a great time! We also celebrated two birthdays in my family, which is always fun. Jacob and I also saw Kevin James perform, and he was hilarious! Heโs a comedian - you might know him from Mall Cop or The King of Queens - and he was fantastic. We loved his clean humor and the fact that he didnโt have to be political to be funny. Plus, it was fun to get all dressed up and go out together. As parents, itโs always a treat when you can put on clothing you donโt have to worry about getting dirty.
If you listened to the last episode of my podcast, youโll have heard me discuss my enjoyment of putting on makeup. For me, itโs time that I can focus on myself, which is nice, and itโs a creative outlet. I can express myself through my makeup each day and see the transformation process. But I know that isnโt the case for some women! Some women find the whole idea of makeup stressful and annoying. So today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite tips for those of you who DONโT like wearing makeup. I personally think that wearing a little bit of makeup to enhance your best features is a very feminine thing to do, so if I can help you find a way to enjoy the process even a little bit more than you do now, Iโll be a happy camper. Letโs get into it!
Use an eyelash curler. Something that will make the biggest difference to your appearance with the smallest amount of effort is curling your eyelashes. Wearing mascara is great, but if you havenโt curled your eyelashes first, then you wonโt be able to see how long and voluminous your eyelashes are since theyโll be pointing straight out or downward. Your eyelashes accentuate the size of your eyes - the more beautiful your lashes, the bigger your eyes look. Not every eyelash curler is the same, though. This one from Shiseido is my absolute favorite and the only one Iโll use. It keeps my lashes curled all day.
Wear mascara. Okay, so now that youโve curled your lashes, the next step is to put on mascara. If I could only use one makeup product, it would be mascara. You can only wear mascara and it doesnโt stand out or look weird that you have it on without anything else. But choosing the right formula is important. Do you prefer when your lashes look long or look thick? Or both? I like both. If my lashes look voluminous but short and stubby, that bothers me. If they look long but spidery, that also bothers me. Iโm picky when it comes to my eyelashes! So figure out what your style is, and then pick a formula that reflects what youโd like.
Use an eyebrow gel. Another easy thing for the low-maintenance makeup gal is eyebrow gel. Eyebrow gel does a few things: it holds unruly eyebrow hairs in place, and it adds color and thickness. A great way to look put together is to have well-groomed eyebrows! First, pluck any crazy stray hairs, then put on some eyebrow gel in the right shade and youโll look great.
Try colored lip balm. Want a simple way to add a bit of color to your face? Try a colored lip balm. Since having my son, this has been my go-to. I want to be able to kiss his little face whenever I want, so wearing a colored lip balm is the best solution! It doesnโt really transfer onto his face and it adds just the tiniest bit of color to my lips. Find a color thatโs your lip color but better, and youโll have an easy-to-apply lip product that you can throw in your purse for use anytime.
Use a color corrector. Lastly, if you donโt want to wear foundation or concealer, I recommend trying a peach color corrector. A peach color corrector underneath your eyes can take away some of the purple discoloration without calling attention to the fact that youโre wearing product on your face. I used to find that if I put random dashes of concealer on my face without foundation, it was more obvious that I was wearing makeup than if I wore nothing at all. But with my favorite color corrector, I can wear it alone and no one is the wiser!
So those are my best easy makeup tips for the woman who doesnโt like wearing makeup. What do you think? Are these helpful? What tips do you have? Share them in the comments below!

I probably still won't wear makeup, but it's interesting to hear your thoughts on it!
I recently (after my wedding) threw out all of my makeup. The only things I kept was one mascara, one concealer, and lip balm. My husband and I discussed it, and we decided that it would be cheaper and easier if I get professional makeup done for special events that require it the once or twice a year that it'll come up, than for me to maintain a makeup collection that I'll almost never actually use ๐
Yes Charlotte Tilbury Vanish! I tried it out thinking it would be like every other concealer but it is not.
